Roblox Nails Layered Clothing UGC issue cage coverage validation error

The nails, when imported into Roblox Studio, fail the Accessory Fitting Tool and UGC Validation with these errors:

In Blender it shows the outer cage covering the entire accessory mesh

The same is true in Roblox studio:

Inner caging using the woman r15:

Inner caging of the roblox default clothing cage:

Yet it consistently returns the error of “Average distance between outer cage to mesh is too high. Mesh seems to be outside of the outer cage.”

I retried with the regular clothing base to re-cage, and it has the same error:

The nails are fully weighted red to only the hand and works properly in the posing.

Did you manage to fix this error? I’ve been facing the same issue

Hi! Yes I did! The issue was actually that the outer cage was too big, and should have been more “shrink wrapped” to the actual model, even though the error says that the mesh is “outside of the outer cage”
