Your problem is:
Cant join a game your group made and you are the owner
so.
Is that correct? (if not please reply)
What you can do to solve it.
- When you put your game on a group you can decide which of the ranks can join it / edit it. (it could be possible you made the owner rank not playable)
- Assure in the GROUP settings that games are visible and you are the owner and everything is enabled for you
For example MAKE SURE YOU dont have
Now when a game is inside a group theres something here…
In this example my GROUP “.QWERTY.”, has the rank Q,P and A,
Q = owner
P = admin
A = player
as you can see in this other image:
the Q rank (owner)
can be No Access or Playtest
YOUR PROBLEM IS THAT: the owner rank is in No Access and it wont let you playtest or edit the game.

Quite literally just had this happen to me, I have also had this happen multiple times in the past.
Just had one place with team create open, nothing else.
This experience is under my profile, not even a group.

You wouldn’t even be able to connect to it if that was the case, as OP said in the title they were disconnected while having the place open.

Hey, thank you for trying to help but you missed the whole point of my current problem which is mostly an unexpected bug. It’s not related at all with playtests since testers don’t have right to edit!
