Roblox refuses to restore 5 years of work, a 13.5M+ visits game + thousands $$$ lost

Funnily enough, I was hacked as well and my 8 mil visits game “Lost Aisles” has been stolen.
It happened from the 16th-17th of February, but despite countless tickets, they’ve all returned either with a braindead response or have been ignored. Even those that have been “elevated” through Developer Relations.

The game was previously under my group “hehe game go brr”, but when hackers gained access to my account, they just instantly transferred it.
Roblox did at least manage to recover my group and robux that were stolen, but the most important part, the game, is still in the hackers’ hands, earning them thousands of USD (it had made ~7k USD from being launched for 2 months before it got stolen a month ago).

Really sucks how incompetent Roblox Support is. I do believe the people there are trying, but it’s just that Roblox itself doesn’t care really.

I honestly believe that Roblox has failed to keep up their automated support with the new experience transfer ownership feature. Every time you mention that your game was stolen the roblox AI support seems to hit a brick wall and does not yet have the capacity (or authority) to reverse experience transfers. It is incredibly rare for a human to respond, but I have only received automated responses for the last six months and several tickets I have made.

Also, if you do not want the hackers making any more money, you can look into filing a dmca and reuploading your game (I am not a lawyer, but this is one of the only ways you can get your game closed without going through roblox support).

In my case, my community reported them for account theft, and they were banned only a week after my game was stolen, but my game is still stuck in limbo under their locked group.

Yeah we’ve thought about the DMCA approach, but (given that Roblox actually follows through with it), it’ll erase all player data and algo data, putting the game back to 0. Tho it may be the only option we have left.

I had a game of mine stolen a few months ago “After 3 AM”, and I did in fact manage to get the game transferred back, though it wasn’t an easy process.

Your best bet is to get into contact with well known successful Roblox developers who are apart of the Developer Relations program, some of them may even have closer contact with roblox staff.

We made tickets on the DevRel discord server where we had an actual human staff review the situation and were able to assist and eventually get the experience transferred back (however, this happened to have occurred on thanks giving, so the roblox staff that were suppose to help get the game back were not available).

This was an incredibly slow process too, it took weeks when ideally it should of only taken a few days…

Either way, i’m incredibly thankful that I did manage to get the experience back, however still a little disappointed that the main theft group and account was never terminated…

For our case, we did actually get into contact with DevRel like 2 or 3 times, but even with them, they just “escalated” the ticket and still, it got the same braindead response.
