Everytime I try to import a model from Roblox Studio using the new toolbox, it either freezes for a long time or crashes completely. I noticed that this happens more frequently when i try to import R6 rigs (or any kind of mesh) from it. This issue was not happening with the old toolbox system.
This usually only happens when I import an asset for the first time in a session and after that it seems to import fine.

Hi @ChronoUpfor,
Some users have reported performance issues with https://create.roblox.com/store/asset/11713948927/Live-Mirror. Just to double check - if you have this plugin installed, can you try uninstalling it and seeing if this issue persists?
1: It happens with every asset that I try importing. However, smaller assets just freeze Studio instead of crashing it completely.
2: Yes, it does. Neither dragging or clicking works.
Nope still crashes
I believe that’s due to how the importing API could be working? I assume that it’s fetched every time you actually import a model since you don’t want to fetch it when you don’t use the toolbox
Hi Chrono, do you mind DM’ing me your studio logs for a session this happens in? We’re trying to reproduce this issue.
We’ve also turned on some extra logging for your user; if you update Studio we should be able to see it on our side.
Thanks,
StickOmega1
I’ve been trying to cause it for a while now, but it seems to be stubborn and doesn’t want to crash Studio anymore. Sure, it does freeze it for a little bit but I assume that’s normal behavior because my setup needs an upgrade.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hey Chrono,
Glad your issue was resolved! I suspect restarting after uninstalling the plugin may have fixed it, but please let us know if you continue to see these issues or are experiencing other crashes.
Thanks,
StickOmega
