I just finished making a really hard animation, and studio randomly decided it wanted to exit and re-enter the place for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Which deleted half of the animation I just finished making. Genuinely, Roblox Studio is the worst creation programs I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with.
Expected behavior
To be able to actually save my animation before studio does something stupid, and if it does, actually save everything before it does something. The fact that studio can just randomly refresh and delete any progress without saving anything first is actually the dumbest thing I have ever heard of a program doing.
this animation of which was being edited in a place owned by the group funky monkey studios. you had team create on and your wifi was laggiing causing you to disconnect from the team create session making you relog. use moon animator if you want autosave and if not i suggest animating offline in a rbxl file or blender.
I was able to remake the animation so it’s fine now but it was in a private game owned by me with just me in it. And team create was on but I never turned it on myself so I have no clue why it was on.
If it can cause progress loss than it probably shouldn’t? Also I looked up if it should automatically be on and there were things saying it shouldn’t so that also confused me.
This isnt an actual solution? You were making a bug report about a problem that didn’t exist and I pointed out what caused it then you put a post that just highlights a setting. The cause was your internet causing you to disconnect from your team create session? I gave you multiple solutions, It seems like your just trying to farm solutions for a bigger number on your profile.
What? I thought that would work because someone else said it was their solution but I guess roblox removed the setting for some reason when I went to look for it. An actual solution would be if my team create default could be set to off. I also don’t care about the “numbers on my profile”. I just find it weird that a setting that can cause progress loss is default to on, and many other people have had this exact issue.
It does not cause “progress loss”. Your internet does. You could say its a solution but that’s like solving world hunger by killing all humans. Just get an animation editor that saves progress, animate outside of Roblox or maybe just periodically save. This entire problem started because you made a bug report for something that isn’t even a bug. Just learn to admit when you are wrong.
Sorry for trying to help give feedback on an issue that multiple people have had an issue with and explaining that simply having a setting or not getting rid of the setting they already had before, could help prevent this from happening to other people in the future. And people don’t think about fixing something until something wrong happens, so yes now I can try to maybe save more often which I already try to do, or try something else to fix it. But it won’t stop it from happening to other people in the future. If they just kept the setting or just kept team create default to off then no one would have this problem anywhere.
