ROBLOX Studio Webpage Issues

I have been contacted by one of my friends, who originally reported this bug to ROBLOX back in September, however since then nothing has occurred. As a result, posting it here is the final resort.

  1. Does the bug happen 100% of the time?
    Yes.
  2. If so, are there steps that reproduce the bug? Please list them in very high detail.
Attempt to access any webpage element within ROBLOX Studio, such as the Login popup, the publish place or model popups.
  3. Where does the bug happen (www, gametest, etc)
    Live website/Studio 2013
  4. Is it level-specific?
    No
  5. Would a screenshot or video help describe it to someone? If so, post one.

  6. For graphics bugs, it is sometimes helpful to know your system specs, especially graphics card.
“Vista Home Premium, Dual Core processor, 4 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 5000 series m”
  7. When did the bug start happening? If we can tie it to a specific release that helps us figure out what we broke.
    Original release of Studio 2013
  8. Anything else that you would want to know about the bug if it were your job to find and fix it.
Attempting to load any webpage element within studio will cause it to not load. As a result, it is impossible to publish a place or a model, or even login to Studio to access your own models.

That’s an Old old video

This has been happening to my friend DarkCreepers on his new computer.

Because it has been happening to him since then. It is still happening to him - He originally sent that video and detailed information to ROBLOX and they simply suggested reinstalling studio which made no difference.

Simple solution: In URL bar remove everything in it and put this in it: http://www.roblox.com/develop Then login from there.

Within the video, he had attempted loading the classic website. Once done - The login button still refused to work.

Try this one: Log in to Roblox

Shall have him try it, however a true fix would be much better.

EDIT: I did just realise, this will not fix the publishing page not loading and as a result he will be unable to publish still.

I’ve had him attempt this link and it refuses to load within Studio. Really in need of a fix, he is stuck using classic ROBLOX Studio - Yet cannot access the majority of new features.

Would he be willing to start a TeamViewer so I can try and help solve his problem?

He’s unable to use TeamViewer, however if you add me on Skype(cj10127), I can add you into a call with him with screensharing.

EDIT: Even after help from Seany, we’re having no luck in fixing his issues with studio.

I believe the issue is with internet explorer, ask your pal to re-install internet explorer I had fixed a similar bug to this by just re-installing/updating internet explorer.

On Windows, WebKit (something we use for internal Studio Browser) uses the same security settings as Internet Explorer, since it’s the only browser that is guaranteed to be installed on a Windows machine.

Try checking your Internet Explorer Security settings, and please let me know if relaxing them fixes this issue.

I’ve assisted him in making his Internet Explorer security settings far more lenient, however we are still having no luck. Unfortunately, we are unable to do a fresh install of IE, or perform an upgrade as he does not have Administrative rights on the computer.
