I’ve noticed something strange recently. My Roblox group was successfully verified, but my personal account (which owns the group) wasn’t – even though I clearly meet all the requirements for verification.
To clarify:
I know how the verification system works.
I’m the owner of the group, and the group has the verification badge.
My account has 2FA enabled, verified email, phone number, is active in development, and follows community guidelines.
Despite all that, my account is still not verified, while my group is.
It seems like this is a mistake, or maybe something is broken. I believe I should already be verified, just like my group. I’d appreciate if anyone from Roblox staff or the community could clarify this or let me know if others are having the same issue.
Just to check - how long ago did the group get the verification badge?
If it was very recently, it may just be that you need to wait a bit for it to spread to your account.
If it was a while ago, I would recommend contacting roblox support (Roblox Support) about it.
It was in the last wave buy i have seen many developers that are group owners havet getting vwrfied, but admins said that they will constinuento give badges to owners?
I’m not sure when the last wave, so that doesn’t really provide much guidance. I take it that it was fairly recently though? You may need to wait for the next wave for it to affect your account
Last wave was in the fifth of june, i dont know about waiting for next wave i have read many developers continue to not being awarded a verfied badge even so they are owners of the group
Roblox has paused verification for group owners and contributors due to abuse of people selling badges. Honestly I dont think it will be continued anytime soon if ever. Hopefully they will figure out a solution soon though.
The thing is the badge were stopped for the controbutors onlu, tge admins it self daid “we will continue to issue badges to group owners” soni dont know what is happening tbh.
