Theirs currently a issue with the hat “Roblox Visor” with it never going offsale like all the visors similar to it from previous years. And when the visors go offsale they also have their name changed to the year they came out in and in this case it’s 2019.
Expected behavior
Have “Roblox Visor” go offsale and have its name changed to “2019 Roblox Visor”
This could be because it’s the welcoming visor of Roblox when you join the platform and it’s a nice gift to give to users that have nothing when they start. I don’t believe taking it off sale will be right for future people that join Roblox throughout the years. Should remain on sale, that’s my personal view on this matter.
The visors that went off-sale were exclusive to the year, hence their names. This visor does not have a year in its name thus should not go off-sale.
This is behavior from almost two decades in the past. It seems pretty to fair to say that a singular instance of this happening well in the past should not dictate current, modern behavior.
This is, still, well within the past (7 years). The visor has remained in its current state for 7 years now. It is a free accessory - there is no tangible impact to users in leaving it on-sale.
Idek I think they never offsaled this one because they discontinued the visor series in general. It’s a sentiment to what once was and I think people would prefer for this one to stay onsale.
Also unlike other sale items these don’t have any disclaimer stating that they would of gone offsale, so I’m not sure staff are inclined to change the onsale status of this item
This is probably intentional. Roblox used to have a tradition of making visors every year and putting the previous year’s visor offsale. They seem to have gotten tired of doing that in 2019 and made one final one to keep free.
This is a tradition Roblox kept going from 2007 to 2019, as long as the current tradition of the Headless Horseman coming back onsale every October, it’s unlikely Roblox would mistakenly forget about it. Even if it was, Roblox probably won’t continue this series. There’s no good reason to make this item offsale, it was likely intentional as a final send-off for the series.
I don’t want to assume your intentions with this report but just because it was a tradition or something happened with similar items beforehand you can’t assume it’s a problem just because it didn’t happen to other similar items. The staff that look over this category are already understaffed and bogging them down with reports like this isn’t helping anyone
A big reason why I’m opposed to this change, that I thought it worth mentioning, is the backlash aspect. Roblox Visor is a free item - with millions of owners. Taking the item off-sale suddenly, without warning, and stripping users of a free hat they could get w/o spending money, would result in significant community backlash. I’m worried that proceeding could cause people to harass Roblox staff & even the OP about the change (as we’ve unfortunately seen in the past). Thought that it was worth chucking my 2c about that into this thread 
Yeah the Gold Clockworks change and the backlash that followed was probably one of the worst events to happen in this forum, caused the staff to be neglectful with item changes
Yeah you aren’t kidding, even with items that need to be fixed aren’t treated the best with handling it without making the community upset when it actually needs it. But stuff like this isn’t helping anyone as this could cause an actual uproar if taken off sale and confusion.
Roblox stopped the tradition of making a new “Roblox Visor” every year in 2018, making the next one the “Roblox visor”. So anyone who got the previous iterations are lucky.
