Ever since the update I’m unable to join any experiences from the web version. When I tried installing and opening the Microsoft Store version, it just crashes even though it states my device is compatible (Asus Vivobook 16 Co Pilot+). I have tried the numerous solutions that were given on the internet but none seemed to work. Is it a comptability issue?
Yeah its affecting solely windows on ARM Devices, hopefully this gets fixed soon, do you mind sharing your reliability monitor for roblox?
Its Control Panel → System and Security → Security and Maintenance → Maintenance → View Reliability History
If theres any windows errors or failures you should paste the image here, unless thats what you already shared privately as the errors in this setting show kernel panics if the PRISM^ platform fails.
^For context, PRISM is the emulator built into Windows on ARM Devices (mostly snapdragon chips) that translates the x86 instructions for a desktop computer into arm64 code to be executed. Up until about the 1st of August this worked perfectly fine, but after then it now returns memory errors and kernel panics indicating a poorly written instruction of the roblox game client that cannot work on ARM devices anymore.
Yeah youve got the same issue, roblox crashes on the dependency file named xtajit64.dll , which is responsible for emulation of roblox for ARM devices like yours, myself and other users running snapdragon series chips on their windows laptops
