Needed to brush up on some methods so I went to look at wiki.roblox.com but it doesn’t appear to be working for me. I asked a couple other people and it’s down for them too. Anyone know why?
Wiki has been superseded by the DevHub. Also is this the same issue?
The wiki link I posted above redirects to https://developer.roblox.com/ so it should be about the same thing. However, mine simply says “robloxdev.com redirected you too many times.” This has been happening a couple days now.
edit: it gives the same error even if I go directly to https://developer.roblox.com/
edit 2: and yes, I already tried clearing cookies and using multiple different browsers (firefox, edge, chrome)
Clear your cache.
Open devtools in chrome and click and hold the refresh page button. Select hard refresh and empty cache.
Nope. Same result. Three other people have the same thing as me so I doubt it’s to do with my browser.
It appears to be working for me now. Might for you guys, too.
Also try flushing your DNS (cmd -> ipconfig /flushdns on Windows, if you’re on Mac it might not be a problem). It’s unlikely that it’s a local issue, but it often fixes website problems for me so it’s worth a try lol.
This isn’t the proper place for this thread, but I get it - the whole lack of access to categories as a New Member. If you’ve tried as much as you can, between switching browsers and clearing their data or resetting them, you may want to submit a bug report. The redirect was recently made so naturally a few people may experience such issues.
I’m not having any problem using either domain. For now, until this is solved, use the Old Wiki if you’re able to access that without issue.
