This whole year we have experienced millions of false bans, all simultaneously caused by a flawed AI system and they have yet to acknowledge this problem and are not even planning to do anything about it.
I don’t wanna be a conspiracy theorist but maybe they are moving towards a closed community approach in which only a carefully selected list of big game studios (which are directly tied to Roblox) are allowed to create games on this platform while newer upcoming developers are discretely thrown under the bus.
This helps to give the illusion of choice & entrepreneurship but underneath the big corp will get to keep all the control and revenue to themselves.

They made Roblox Build, the AI thing that allows anyone to make their games, so it is very unlikely.
Unless Roblox would change publishing eligibility a lot and make only small select group of developers able to create games for all ages.

If you see the current trend of events on Roblox, it seems obvious that they have entirely lost touch with their community.
Literally 1 out of every 3 posts recently created on the devforum has been about this outrageous AI moderation.
And for me personally, I have dealt with mutiple bans on my games and on my account, long delays on my DevEx requests reaching over a month, unresponsive support that ignores all my emails, and to put the cherry on top Roblox has decided to completely ban me from uploading games to All Ages ever since they introduced mandatory ID verification
How am I supposed to fulfill the publishing requirements if ID verification is not supported in my country? IT’S BEEN 4 MONTHS WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE IS THIS?
This is so sad. Roblox AI automated moderation is getting worse every time. The punishments are unfair and the appeal system just doesn’t work, it doesn’t even get reviewed by a human. You appeal and you get it denied in seconds. I really hope this changes soon.
I don’t believe a single human being works as a moderator for Roblox anymore. The days of human moderation have completely lapsed. Roblox is struggling to raise their bottom line in any way they can after their stocks tanked and several lawsuits mounted (Their stock price is close to the all time low currently). This means firing human beings in favor of cheap AI to save money. Frankly, I am fine with AI being used to scan the millions of chat messages per day that would be impossible to moderate with real people (as argued in larping posts supporting AI moderation). However, completely replacing every human on the email support and appeals side is incredibly wrong. I had my 6 million visit game stolen and any support emails I sent got zero response.
Now the AI is deleting games that have educational value. I remember one of my classmates a long time ago using Roblox Titanic as a simulation for their project on the Titanic. Even though most people play these games for entertainment, there is still a lot of valuable learning material. Why would anyone be outraged at a game simulating a ship sinking that occurred over 100 years ago?
Roblox wouldn’t need as many human moderators to answer emails as they would with checking every single chat message. And before anyone says “they get sent too many emails to read” why not sort the emails by account status? An account of a well known developer with millions of visits should get sorted into a higher priority bracket than a bacon hair account created 3 days ago. This is severely negligent.
That’s true. There’s still a small number of people working on Roblox moderation, and they claim to review “complex” cases that require a human capacity, but we all know that doesn’t work.
Many employees just ignore the work because of the sheer volume of requests they get, so they just copy and paste automated answers instead. Roblox moderation used to be good years ago when it relied more on humans and less on AI.
I got something similar of an experience. Roblox keeps saying my “TextChatService API” doesn’t pass through FilterStringAsync. This is pretty odd, considering that everything I have is filtered twice to prevent bypassing. I even went the length to completely remove it, and use the default provided TextChatService, but they seem to keep banning their own system.

For support, it’s been a struggle with me, they left me in the dark and I have no way to get it back so far.
Roblox is no better than the average money-hungry company that doesn’t care about anything but its stock investors. They don’t care about their demographic, as demonstrated by replacing all human moderation with AI, and just overall making very crappy decisions to their platform. At this point you really just cannot have hope for Roblox all together. I loved playing that game and i even bought ALL of the gamepasses that was with that game (I don’t even get a refund for it :/).
I understand the use of AI can come in handy to some and in certain scenarios, but completely replacing human moderation with AI is a very stupid move on Roblox’s behalf. Even a child could do better as an executive officer for a company with a stock…
Tbh, you would be better off making a Roblox remake than associating with this dumpster-fire of a company.
