I just wanted to start a bit of discussion on ideas for a way to implement Root Motion into roblox since it’s not a native feature. For those who dont know what root motion is, it allows you to make an animation with directional movement built into it and use it in a game to create a more grounded feel in character movement (at least in most use cases). Main reason i wanted to start this topic was so that we could collectively come up with a solution to implement a feature like this. Ive gotten suggestions to get the cframe from the animation pose and then do some hacky cframe with the humanoid root part but that doesnt work. so without further ado let the discussion commence.
