Rope Constraint (Realistic swinging motion) & Momentum

Does anyone know how to make a more “Realistic” swinging motion, or at the very least a more believable one

Since I seemed to noticed that swinging an object using rope constraints or rod constraints take forever to stop

What I’ve tried:

  1. I did use separate ropes to make it more believable using tiny parts, I also weighted the parts so it swings with a lil more oomph however it still does not dissipate the momentum

  2. Making the bulb heavier, in theory yes. In practice? HELL NO, I can’t tell if it’s my bulb or the rope BUT IT JUST BREAKS it either looks weird or the rope just jitters however I might try changing the model of the bulb later

for now I’m taking suggestions
