RoSource Dev-Log #4: June 8th - June 14th
Welcome to fourth official dev-log everyone! For those of you new to RoSource, we are a group that is bringing a new, high-quality Half Life 2 experience to Roblox. Check out our group here.

WEEKLY PROGRESS
This week we made more progress towards alpha. There was a lot of behind the scenes progress in terms of scripting. Developer @SoulMonopoly resigned and has left the development team. Apologies for the late dev-log, I forgot about it.

NPC Animations & Improvements

NPCs now have animations which are locally rendered for maximum performance.

Precint 13

The connecting block between the Nexus and the rest of the map, this week has seen the completion of Precint 13 and as a result the main roadways of the map are now done.

Loyalist Apartments

Showcased as WIP last week, the loyalist apartments are now complete with probable later building additions based on loyalist features.

Gun Ammo

Most of this was behind the scenes setting up structure for custom tool data, however gun ammo is now in! Next week we will be featuring the custom animation system we’re working on because default Roblox animations don’t work very well with the custom characters (as seen in the video below).

Item Dropping

Items can now be dropped & item drops can be spawned!

The Sewers (WIP)

Servicing a large underground connection across the city, the sewers are a center for crime and the rebellion due to their non-patrol status. Currently being worked on by Drwn_Pad, they’ll be featured in the game upon the alpha release.
