Hey, that is a pretty original game, nice idea! A few minor critiques:
Intermission should be a single word. A few different boats/maps would help avoid it being repetitive, and half the item blocks, I don’t know what they do. It’s a bit too hard to pass people - giving boats occasional speed boosts, or speed boost blocks, would help solve this. Overall though, nice game!
