I believe every time that I open Studio, the first time I save or publish my game this popup appears even though I have not touched Avatar Settings at all. I have a StarterCharacter in my game already and have had it since before Avatar Settings was added and Studio keeps thinking that I have unsaved changes to it.

I started having this random popup too except it’s every time I try to publish my game and I didn’t do anything with the Avatar Settings. I also had a StarterCharacter script so maybe the StarterCharacter might have an effect on the game idk. Literally doesn’t let me publish if I click “Discard” but lets me save?

Same issue, Studio has been in an abysmal state lately, low performance, random crashes, the new explorer and now this.

I too, haven’t touched the Avatar Settings for ANY of my experiences, yet I now get this popup for EVERY SINGLE ONE. Roblox, please fix this.

Yeah it’s annoying, not to mention recently I updated studio and ever since it has been REALLY slow whenever my laptop isn’t plugged in, like 25-30fps when unplugged and 60+ when plugged in, which is weird because it always used to be 60+ both plugged in and unplugged. Super frustrating stuff.

I can confirm this happens every time I try to publish / save / close studio, even making it so I have to click the “Shut down anyways” option in windows to shut down my PC.
I’m bumping this up because the bug is still present. Its preventing me from making minor adjustments to my game due to the risk of shutdown. This issue has become quite disruptive and needs to be addressed.

I have no idea why but I always get the same popup…Just let me close Studio. Sometimes I literally just check a map without touching anything at all or editing anything…Basically I just fly around the map and that’s it.
..And yet this pops up

Same thing happens for me.. does anything bad happen if you click save/ discard? I dunno whats safer to click, since the popup worries me that itll affect my account or something

I’ve been clicking discard on my game and its been saving fine for the past week, not sure about publishing though
please save us from this, whenever this happens in a team create it kicks out everyone except for the person who recieved the dialogue box.

Hello everyone, if y’all wanna disable the (annoying) “Avatar Settings” popup, use these fflags to disable 'em :–D
After this, you should be able to save perfectly fine.
(This will also bring back the old interface (R6/R15) configuration in the Game Settings)

Function Flag/Fast Flag are things you can enable for beta features and such.
yeah i know that now but like.. where are they
