I’ve learned my lesson – make frequent backups. Since I learned this lesson after my problem, and not before it, could someone tell me what happened? Before:
I have no idea how this could have happened. I’d really rather fix things automatically, but there doesn’t seem to be a uniform scaling that I can reverse with a script. Here’s the file if you want to check it out for yourself: mesa.rbxl (1.6 MB) The bottommost (in-game, not these pictures) version seems to be just fine… but it’s the one that had the least amount of progress. Happy to answer any questions, and get any help. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Everything seems to be scaled by 1.08, 1.5, 1.08, but resizing all of them still leaves discrepancy in the positioning:
Update: I found a long lost backup! If anyone still knows how my issue was caused, I’m still curious and would like to know – and would also like to have a way to fix it if this ever happens again without a backup.
Don’t think there is an easy way to fix something like this but you could try using this plugin. Building Tools by F3X (Plugin) - Roblox. No clue on what could have coused it tho
Huh, I guess it’s kinda hard to lose all your progress because you’re either autosaving backups on your computer, or Roblox is doing it for you when you publish to Roblox. I should’ve done this first!
