Scanner LiDAR for my Backrooms game

Hello! I’m Cuba, a small multi-developer who is developing “Project FrontRooms”, a survival-rpg horror backrooms game, with a non-linear system and an open world with a procedural generation.
It’s my first project and yeah, I know it’s big, but I want to polish it as much as possible and make it realistic.
100% faithful to the wikidot btw.
(I think it would be best to always add this introduction so that people who read this know what the project is about in case they are interested.)

I’ve been creating my own LiDAR system for level 6 of the backrooms, since according to the wiki, it’s impossible to use any light source.

The system includes:

  • Generation of small balls on ANY surface, whether it’s a model, a cylinder, a sphere, a ramp, or a normal part.
  • Use of different colors for different objects depending on the labels, for example, red = blood.

In this image you can see the generation of balls of different colors, the red one representing blood, the blue one an obstacle (or water) and the multi-colored one the exit.

Screenshot took on an empty tunnel.

Still in development!
If you want to be on de discord just enter this link: Project FrontRooms
You must verify if you want to see the sneak peeks!
Btw, the dev forms are open too!

Open to any suggestions or questions.
Thanks for your time =)
