I dont get much sci fi vibes, I feel as if it would be a flamethrower. I would probably see more of the sci fi as you texture it, but the inserted square panels make it seem less sci fi-ey

I really like how it looks so far, but I wouldn’t consider this Sci-Fi. Maybe when you add the texture it will look more like Sci-Fi.

Well now that you say it, perhaps you’re right. The gun will be used for a star wars game, which encapsulates the definition of “Sci-Fi”, thus I just assumed it’s sci fi.

I would say it still would be sci fi, because sci fi is a general term. The thought was that gun did not fall under the traditional sci fi style. I can indeed think it of a star wars gun.
