Deciding to ride the wave with this next thing. For about the last week I’ve been developing a new dogfighting* game. Except this dogfighting game is kinda like a dog show at the same time.
The aim of the game is to out-style the opposing team. The amount of style you boast is represented by “points” The more your swag-o-meter swings, the more points you get.
Wasting my time on a crazy lego simulator has never felt more rewarding
There are already a variety of ways to earn points to boost your score. Below is just an abbreviated list of the many possibilities:

What’s the point (ha ha) in all this you ask? You see, every player gets to have their LIFETIME SCORE saved at the end of every round (or whenever they choose to leave)
Those with scores high enough get the honor and privilege of appearing near the top of the GLOBAL HIGH SCORE BOARD (show high score board here)
Names and scores on scoreboard subject to change
The game is determined to set itself apart from other Roblox games by adopting a more arcadic feeling to it; enriched by custom font and an original soundtrack (sorry Bradley)
However, due to the chaotic nature of the game (and the chaotic nature of my scripting ability) the game needs brave souls to populate it and properly exterminate it of bugs and other gross things.
Take a gander and explore a(n empty) world full of planes!!

I like how you’ve implemented the speedometer and the ability to stall your plane. The game looks really nice overall and I found it quite enjoyable (even though I was all by myself the first time I played it).
Some of the awards have pretty funny names (I like the finding nemo one!). I really hope this game does well.
One thing I’d like to see improved is that a plane can stall from flying almost horizontally. I think it would be nice if the engines were given a bit more power, so flying slightly upwards doesn’t cause the plane to keep slowing down until it eventually stalls.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that once the plane is stalled, I lose all control over it and it just drops like a rock. I think it would be nice if the player could keep some control and the plane still produced some lift until it either crashes into the ground/water or regains enough speed to continue flying.
On a side note, you could also give an award for saving the plane after a stall, and for bringing the plane close to a complete halt in midair.
Volcano, great suggestions. My brother even had the same idea as you had. I also noticed through player testing that I should make it easier to avoid a stall.
I’ll let you know when the change has been implemented.
I have yet to add a way to give bob proper credit in game for his initial inspiration for the planes. I’m working on that though
This game is godly.
Me and AntiBoomz0r were playing it earlier and it’s just glorious.
10/planes
(also thanks for being so awesome about a!r, I made the planes in it )
ya man I tried PMing Boomz0r to ask if it was alright but figured he wouldn’t mind.
