Script crashing clients sometimes

this chunk of a script crashes players for some reason, Its worked for almost half a year and only decided to be an issue now. The event only fires one time and its for initializing the world model animations of the character. Any ideas? I’m assuming due to the obscure and sudden nature that this is a bug caused by a recent engine update.

Just a guess but maybe something you used was deprecated? I am not sure if that would cause a crash though.

theres no reason this code should crash

  • roblox issue?
  • too many instances in ReplicatedStorage.wep.WorldModels?

the most I’m doing feature wise is loading animations with an animator in a humanoid. Thats why I assume this is caused by an engine update cause I really can’t find a solution to this

only like 8 inside it lol. I had to sort through a gigantic set of character scripts to filter it down to this small and pretty mundane chunk and I’m more confused now than ever. Sad thing is that (if it is a roblox issue) I just have to close the game down until further notice.
