Starting yesterday, typing in the script editor has been very laggy for me. I’ve seen people having the same issue on macOS (Typing in the script editor is extremely slow in macOS High Sierra/Mojave/Catalina); except I am using Windows 10 20H2.
While writing this bug report, the bug started crashing my Roblox Studio.
The issue happens to me every time I try to type anything in ServerScriptService -> Modules -> GameMain in the place ID 6163872148. It is also a bit laggy in an empty baseplate.
Reproduction steps:
- Open that place ID in Roblox studio
- Go to the script
ServerScriptService -> Modules -> GameMain - Try to type something
System specs:
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
- Intel Core i7-8750H @ 2.20 GHz
- 16 GB of RAM
- Windows 10 20H2
