Whenever I open a script in studio I experience extreme lag when moving my mouse over the editor or typing. It only occurs in the script editor.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?
Thanks

Are you using a Mac by any chance? If so, they’re have been several issues with Mac and Script Editor multiple times before (at least in DevForums that is).
Examples:
I am having several issues since the last Studio update. I am on Mac.
The script editor is so laggy it is no longer usable. I am having to copy-paste it to an external editor for anything more than tweaking a line. There is an annoying delay after each character I type. When I scroll, it takes days (and when I stop scrolling, Studio won’t let me do anything else until the scrolling catches up).
Dragging windows (e.g. Explorer, Properties, etc.) is impossible: I tried opening a tab in the Diagn…
Been having this issue persistently on both my Macs, for maybe half a year now. I press a key on my keyboard, and it’ll take a significant amount of time before it’s reflected on my computer. If I press a lot of keys at once, it becomes far worse.
The size of the script doesn’t matter, it can literally be empty, scrolling is hugely laggy too. Having said that, the rest of studio works just fine.
My Macs are both fast and modern, both running macOS Sierra, 10.12.1

Hey Developers,
We have recently discovered an issue where Studio’s script editor lags on newer versions of macOS, namely 10.12 (Sierra) and higher. This is because the current version of our application framework does not support the latest versions of OSX.
If you are on a Macbook running macOS Sierra or higher, there is a workaround:
Go to System Preferences → Displays → Color (for the Built-In Retina Display)
Change Display Profile to Generic RGB Profile
Restart your Macbook
Additionally…
If not feel free to ignore .

Nope, I saw those threads already. I’m running Windows 10 on my PC.
