Script that when u hold a key then put it where it needs to be placed it opens a door and the item u held goes where it needs to be placed

Does anyone know a video or how to make it where if u hold a key and u press it down on where it needs to be placed maybe an example like a apple and it’s a key it needs to be placed on the table and when u place it down it opens a door anyone know how to do that like the mimic chapter 3 skull maze?
