Script.parent vs LocalPlayer.Character

Today, I was trying to understand the difference between which is best to use script.Parent or LocalPlayer.Character inside of localscript which is located inside of StarterCharacterScripts/character.

Which do you prefer
  • Script.Parent
  • LocalPlayer.Character
  • Both

It’s really the same to be honest. Not much changes if you use either. Just a word of preference I guess.
