CTRL+Shift+F, searched a term and instead of highlighting the term I clicked, it highlighted one near it, see image:

Do you have folded regions in the code?
If you do, that’s the problem. If there’s any folded code sections then the go-to-find functionality will get confused.
Redo the search. If you search and then add/remove lines earlier in the code it won’t update on the search results.
