As a Roblox developer, it is currently impossible to guarantee a service/product that was paid to be given (excluding contracts). To demonstrate this sentence:
Someone was selling a map. The map he was selling was big in size and detail, and costed R$200,000. An employer wanted to buy this map, but didn’t sign a contract. That employer paid but did not receive his service/product; he was scammed.
My idea is that there will be an option to sell a map on Roblox Studio. The map will consist of all parts of the Workplace and the game. An option on Roblox Studio will be the “Sell” option. Once clicking the “Sell” button, the map-creator will insert a price tag. A link to this offer will be generated. When the employer clicks the link, he will accept the price. The map-creator will then confirm he is selling his map to the right employer.
There may still be a marketplace fee (like the current option, group funds), but the payment will be much more secure. If the employer does not have enough Robux, the system will not allow him to place his offer.
This can also work with selling games, individual assets, and more.
I believe this will be very efficient for developers. I’ll leave a poll though:
- This is a good idea
- This is a bad idea

Edit: this feature will not be arriving any time soon, I was notified it is the employers to take precautions (i.e. contract) and agree with this statement.
