Security Bug Age modification exploit to Under 13 triggers COPPA auto-close loop on recovery tickets

My 10-year-old account x_Lxgen got hacked back on June 15, 2026. The person who got into it changed the email, turned on 2FA, and changed the account’s birthdate to under 13. The problem now is that setting the age to under 13 breaks Roblox’s entire support system for getting the account back.Because of COPPA restrictions on under-13 accounts, Roblox’s automated support bots instantly decline any ticket I send even with receipts. The bot just hits me with “Unable to verify ownership” and closes the ticket without a real person ever looking at it.Hackers are literally using the under 13 age lock as a loophole to trap owners in an endless auto-close loop so staff never see the actual account logs.

Expected behavior

When someone submits a recovery request with valid billing receipts from the original creation email, support should be able to manually override an unauthorized age change. Staff should check the IP, email, and birthdate logs from around June 15, fix the birthdate, and send a reset link back to the original email.
