Somewhat new to studio and i loved the idea of a character spawning in with custom made armor but i havent really figured that out yet, so in the meantime im looking for any feedback on the design of the armor/swords

I think that what he wanted to say is that it doesn’t really look like armor. It doesn’t really give out that vibe.
The armor should have more detail to it. Especially the arms. And about the back, you didn’t show it so I have no idea.
Thinking practically, I think you should add armor to their shoulders, as well as some gauntlets to protect their lower arm.
It doesn’t look like there is much armor on the chest plate, try adding more protection there. Looks like there is a bit of neck protection, but try to increase it in the back of their neck.
There should be armor for their legs, maybe a few frontal plates for their knees and upper legs. Adding boots would make the armor look a lot better as well.
Overall it’s not that bad, pretty decent, although the colors are a bit too bright.
