Selling a "permission" to a group for 1k?

Just asking, but isn’t forcing a group to pay 1k R$ to have anything in a place against the rules?

Need more context.

Like… Selling a rank?

Ranks, tools that are only available to those who payed the fee via t-shirt and can lose everything promised to them at any given time because the owner doesn’t like them/broken an unwritten rule. Basically selling a special vip to a group for a sum of money and have no deal to follow and the seller can screw the buyer at any given time.

Asking because I found a user that is doing this and not really sure if this is against the rules or not.

VIP shirts have been around for the longest time. Unless they’re doing anything, there’s nothing wrong with that – I can remove in-game items from game passes and developer products as well. It’s up to the game developer what happens in the game. Just because you found out that someone you dislike is doing something like that, yet hasn’t actually done anything wrong and reporting them is silly. That’s a no no.

I know a few people that do this, including my self on a pass.
I’d also like to know whether this is against the rules or not.

No, it’s not against the rules. I could sell you admin with a gamepass for 1k, sell you admin with a developer product for 1k, and sell you admin with a TShirt for 1k, and then remove all of those permissions. It doesn’t matter how I sell the admin to you – I can always take it away. The only downside to using a TShirt is that it’s less elegant than a gamepass / dev product.

Okay, well, just asking cause I’ve never actually heard of this being allowed.

That’s silly. VIP shirts have been around forever, and no doubt you’re not ignorant of that.

For a shirt, not a group… To me it sounds too shady for it to be honored for a long time.

Oh? Giving a whole group VIP if one person buys a shirt and giving VIP to that single person who bought it are on completely two different levels? I wasn’t aware of that! :open_mouth: You’re sounding rather childlike in your reasoning, and you’ve made it no secret that the reason you’re bringing this up is because you don’t like the person who sold VIP to a group and are trying to find anything that will get them in trouble. Selling VIP to a group and selling VIP to a person are the same thing. If the game creator honors the purchase, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t even matter if it’s a gamepass that gives the leader’s group VIP or a dev product to do the same – I could remove VIP regardless of the method of purchase, but until I actually do remove the VIP they paid for, I have done nothing wrong.

No, they’re not doing anything against the rules. Does that answer your question?

Yes, and no it’s not that I don’t like the person, I just wanted to know it’s aligned with the rules because my friend PhantomR was,rd to do the sane nut he wasn’t sure if it’s against the rules or not.
