SetPrimaryPartCFrame is not a valid member of meshpart

it because then i would need to find the position for all the doors in the game and then change the scripts in all the doors and it would be a massive work

I can see that. [][][][][][][]

So why would you have him rewrite everything?

You don’t, you could just make a folder and that’s all.

if i could get my welds right i think it should be working

You’re just assuming now, I did not post it after I saw his comment. I didn’t see what anybody said because I was busy writing my comment and posting it.

Make 3 weldconstraints. Parent them to “Primary”. Set part0 to Primary, and part1 to door, knob, and plate. Then unanchor door, knob, and plate and the thing should work fine.

the door knob works now all i need to do is fix my doors weld position so it will fully close instead of almost being closed

Try setting the Cframe angles to -90 and 0. Play aroudn with the values to see the result.

Moving parts with welds are glitchy just to let you know.

In my experience they work perfectly fine. I have multiple doors that use the same concept and they all work flawlessly.

it works now thank you guys so much all i did was -90, 90 and in the door.Cframe at the top i made it 0,0,0 and it works

dont really know what comment should be solution

Here’s a tip, if you’re going to make multiple of scripts for the “Locker” or “Door” System. You could instead use “CollectionService”, It helps with the organization and it’ll only need 1 script and it’ll work for all of them.
