When using keyboard and controller to move sometimes it is useful to toggle shift-lock and then move with the controller for precise character movements. However moving with the controller now deactivates shift-lock when it previously did not.

This bug negatively impacts my ability to use roblox for both work and play. When should i attempt to resend this bug report?
Hello,
Using gamepad together with mouse simultaneously isn’t fully supported. The previous behavior, as you pointed out, allows the user to enable shift lock and aim the camera with a mouse while using the left stick to move the character. This wasn’t intended behavior, and was a “bug as a feature”. It didn’t work very good. The movement was jittery, and it would freeze the character sometimes. The aiming cursor would snap between positions on screen. This is because the code always assumes we’re either in gamepad mode or keyboard mode, and cycles between them. If the future, we plan on unifying these so they aren’t separate modes, and it will work better for mixed-mode input. At the moment, this unfortunately isn’t a mode that we explicitly support. It is useful to understand the input modes that users are adopting, and we will keep this in mind when improving the input code.
