Please can people give me feedback on my anime rougelite game “Shoen Defenders” Shonen Defenders - Roblox

- the UIs are really nice
- the custom cursor is a nice touch and fits nicely with the theme of the game
- start of tutorial should be a little more clear, i don’t have a weapon, i have fists.
- dash cooldown doesn’t count down, it just stays at 5 until its useable again
- injured swordsman healthbar is at the top of my screen even though i’m not fighting any enemy, and there’s no injured swordsmans in the tutorial (edit: found him)
- killing the level 9000 tutorial mob was very easy, and gave me power level 9975, after leaving the tutorial I no longer have a power level stat which is confusing, what does power level even do? game never tells me
- game is clearly very well made, and feels fun to play when there’s a lot going on on the screen
- no idea what i’m supposed to do after the tutorial
- your scripts are far too long, seperate them into modules
- whatever i’m supposed to interact with here does not work
- the page buttons are blocked by chat
- would be nice if tutorial had background music
- after playing the main game, i realised the game would be much more enjoyable without the tutorial, and much of the game is fairly self-explanitory
- attack cooldowns should be faster
- game tells me i died even though i won? or did i die? idk
overall this game is incredibly well made and will definitely do well

Hey thatboydevelops99! I played your anime roguelite on stream, and honestly, there’s a lot of good stuff happening already. The defend-the-core idea keeps the tension high, and picking up new weapons and abilities as you go really keeps the run interesting. I enjoyed playing it.
From my side, the main thing I’d improve is the early-game clarity. The UI and tutorial could guide new players a bit better, and I bumped into a couple of small bugs, but nothing that hurt the experience.

you’re on a strong track — tighten up the onboarding and this one could genuinely stand out.
