Should I be worried about getting kicked out of the devforum?

I have posted some things in the wrong places, and some stuff were removed and unlisted for that reason. I also asked about express/NodeJS stuff.

Should I be worried about my trust level and my member rank? Do I still have the possibility of ranking up to Regular?

I’m not sure if you should be worried.

It depends how much stuff got flagged. (I think) make sure to think about what do and make sure what you’re gonna do isn’t going to get flagged and removed.

No, you shouldnt be worried, but PLEASE, read the guidelines. There states every rule and any doubt you have can be answered there, as well as the rules so you dont get flagged

I joined the forum around a week ago. Im not that good I just started.

I read the guidelines 2 hours after I joined the forum. It isnt about being good, is about knowing what to do and when to do it

I agree and understand with what you are saying but I don’t mean to make mistakes.

Where do I find the guidelines?

Everyone makes mistakes, I too got a few flags in my early days. Don’t fret about it - just try to stick to the rules and guidelines the best you can.

You won’t be randomly booted out for all these flags, the three-strike system still stands.

Thank you so much! I guess beginners are always flagged for a silly reason.

It really depends how much times you will place stuff in the wrong places and it depends on the staff that sees it.

Wait so I can get banned for that?

Well I never really saw anyone get banned from it, but if you need answers read the rules and guidelines.

I did and it said multiple small things can give strikes.

Each category also has pinned “About” guidelines, where you can read more on how to use certain categories.

For instance this is the “About” of #help-and-feedback:scripting-support :

Personally, I would not worry. People are always flagging posts for silly reasons (for example - being in the wrong section). They seem to get some sort of kick out of it.

My posts are always being moved around (which I don’t mind) and they sometimes get edited, which I personally find quite rude.

Personally, I don’t think that your post(s) should be flagged for being about Express/NodeJS as most projects on Roblox run off the services.

Posting in the wrong category is against the rules, and flags are made for just that; reporting posts that violate guidelines. It’s not just to “get some sort of kick out of it.”

Keep in mind TL3+ don’t edit just because they feel like it, if they changed the category is it because your topic didn’t fit there, it fit elsewhere. And for titles, they will edit it to be clearer so the guarantee of getting a response is higher, and for SEO purposes.

Keep in mind it says on the platform, not for which the latter is more general and would likely allow web projects.
