Should I be worried about having slightly unoriginal ideas?

For starters, my game is a survivors versus vampires game. It’s practically Left4Dead but vampires and ‘unique’ vampires that I thought of myself.

There have been a handful of other games that have tried this L4D but on Roblox idea and they’re pretty decent, but I don’t want my game to look like a clone of theirs or a clone of L4D.

Where would I start when coming up with new ideas for my game and should I be worried my game has a few recurring details from other games?

It should be fine as long as you change it up a little. Sounds fun to me!

Don’t be silly. As for me I’ve made a boombox game, I recommend you adding something they can use like a sword or and pet they can walk, if it’s a survival game I think they should be allowed to tame pets or ride pets.
