What do you want to achieve? I want to know if I should do this
What is the issue? Basically, I took a testing job because it seemed to have good pay, however I didnt read closely enough and it said itll only reward the person with the most game breaking bug, since someone pretty much found one already, I guaranteed wint get paid, and I want to leave. Will this affect me in any way? Can I still put this as work experience?
What solutions have you tried so far? None since this is the first time leaving a group before testing is done
Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated!
Unless there is a physical or digital equivalent of a contract, testing jobs are usually volunteer-based. You are not guaranteed pay; you are only given a chance to be compensated if they view your work as substantial enough to warrant compensation. This can’t affect you legally, so yes, you should leave the position if you are mulling over the decision. It’s up to you whether you’d like to include this as work experience; if it’s a substantial amount of time, then it’s warranted.
