Should I put my Robux towards making a simulator or work on another project?

So, I just read a post literally 2 seconds ago, and I only have 3K+ Robux and I’m looking to expand that a bit and I’m working on a big project right now but the thing is, I’m not sure if I should risk making a simulator and investing in that or just continue working on my big project and invest in that and hope it doesnt flop because of the lack of robux

Try having perspective.
Could you maybe elaborate on both of your projects, its requirements & plot?

Well basically my big project is a game about having a vitrual pet and you take care of it, youll get to choose from 3 starter animals, youll be able to bathe your pet, play with it, pet it, and im going to also add minigames, the shop is already made, I have a currency system I already setup the dev prodcucts the UI is really good for the main menu, I have a nice loading screen with random messages, and the main goal is just to collect the pets in the game but, alot of people have told me that there are too many pet games and such, also the player will be controlling the cameras not the actual player, basically the game will be something like this

For the simulator I dont reall have an idea for that because it just came up in my mind a bit ago.

That’s not the same thing I was wondering how well 3K+ Robux would do for advertising/sponsoring

It depends on whether the players are interested in the game then you can make profit from it. I think it is original about a virtual pet and stuff, so I think you might make double profit or maybe more.

Try making the game cartoonistic, enjoyable.
I personally prefer using stuff like low-poly, animated UI’s, elements etc.

Always remember to differ between profit & popularity.
If I was about to implement gamepasses, I’d consider if the project is on good roads.

With amount of experience, you can combine design & script to turn this into a great project.
Remember, what makes your game unique?

I started my first project simple to gain Lua experience, even if it wasn’t about to turn out great.
In my case, I do not need to create ads since reputation & recommendations to your friends or suggestions would do great as well. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks thats really awesome and I’m just really trying to change the game scene roblox has right now, time and time again people have doubted me and I’ve given up on other projects, but I’m going to stay consistent and never give up because nothing is impossible

People succeeded even without ads.
You have a lot of space in front of you as long as you got people to rate and judge your artwork & creations.
Motivation is key, try listening to music & inspiring yourself from successful games. You’ll do it!
