ok, so I am creating a round based game, there are many weapons that you have to fight your opponents. I am just wondering if I should start with the weapons, or the round bases system?
It depends on which is more difficult for you. For example, for me, I would have difficulty with the weapons, so I would start with the round system to warm up and get ready for a challenge. However, if you were to start with rounds, you would have to have a separate testing place for the weapons in order to be able to test more efficiently.
I think you should start to make system first. The system and game functional always should be the thing you should make first in you game. The weapon system goes second, because it isn’t really big one part of your game
If you like to first make things that you’re able to create
You should start with what you can make.
If you would like to advance the game’s development
Then you should go with the main game mechanics which in this case is the round-based system.
Similar to what @superhypercrazy1 said, I would do what’s easiest for me first, which would be the weapons for me since I’m a builder.
