so i have a game idea and i want to work more on it, so its just a dodgeball and players can build temporary walls, should i add damage or just focus on the knockback? should the map be open or closed in and focus on the damage?
I think this question is too broad to give a specific answer to. I think you should work on these ideas yourself and develop the concept more. Some questions you should ask yourself:

im not sure, i think i want it to me more of game like k.a.t, but players have a wall they can summon o block the balls, damage and knockback both works i guess
Well is your game all about Dodgeball? Then the ball should deal damage. Otherwise, if they are just a random fun feature that you added, then just add knockback. Also how do you do program knockback? i don’t know how.
