[Showcase] Crafting an Atmospheric Işıkveren (Lightgiver) Base (Feedback Welcome!) - EK2

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

I am currently working full speed ahead on my solo game project, Evrende Kargaşa 2 (EK2) — a futuristic sci-fi universe full of mysteries and atmospheric environments. This isn’t just a simple game map; it’s an indie studio workshop where custom scripts, deep lore, and dark sci-fi atmospheres are built completely from scratch in Roblox Studio.

I have officially launched my YouTube channel to share devlogs, leaks, and theories as the game develops: :link: YouTube Video: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhMUSlQWYJM)

(Note: The videos are currently in Turkish as it’s my native language, but full English localization and subtitles will be included as development progresses!)

I’ve also attached a sneak peek photo straight from the Studio below. What do you guys think of the magnificent Işıkveren Base?

If you’re into sci-fi worlds and indie devlogs, I’d love for you to check out the image and the latest leak showcase.

I am always open to your constructive criticism, feedback, ideas, or theories regarding the atmosphere, lighting, and overall feel. What are your thoughts on the visuals so far?

Thanks for stopping by, see you around! :rocket:

**Ah, I completely forgot to mention a small but crucial technical detail about the Işıkveren Base in my original post!

The differently colored neon platforms you see in the center of the image aren’t just for decoration—they actually have a specific gameplay function tied to the base’s internal system (which I’ll be showcasing in the upcoming leak video!).

Also, I’m currently using the “Future” lighting technology in Studio to get those neon reflections to look as atmospheric as possible. However, I’m trying to balance this for lower-end devices.

  • Keep Future lighting! The neon reflections and dark sci-fi vibes are totally worth the performance cost. :high_voltage:
  • Switch back to ShadowMap! Optimization is king for a large-scale map, keep it running smoothly. :hammer_and_wrench:
