Significant Spike in Platform Crashes Causing Servers to Shut Down
Description
At approximately 11:00 PM ET on August 15, 2026, we experienced a significant spike in platform crashes across Marine Academy: Military Roleplay.
Experience: Marine Academy: Military Roleplay | Play on Roblox
According to the Creator Dashboard crash analytics, 10 server crashes were recorded during this period:
- 8 Platform crashes
- 2 Out of memory crashes
The platform crashes appear to have affected a substantial portion of our active servers at approximately the same time. Many servers shut down unexpectedly, causing a noticeable and immediate impact to our concurrent player count.
This was particularly concerning because the majority of the crashes were categorized by Roblox as Platform crashes, rather than out-of-memory crashes.
Expected Behavior
Live servers should continue operating normally without unexpectedly crashing due to engine-level/platform issues.
Actual Behavior
At approximately 11:00 PM ET, numerous live servers crashed within the same short period.
Creator Dashboard subsequently reported a large spike consisting primarily of Platform crashes (8), along with 2 Out of memory crashes.
The simultaneous server failures caused many active players to be disconnected and resulted in a significant decline in our concurrent player count.
Reproduction
We do not currently have reliable reproduction steps.
The crashes occurred unexpectedly across multiple live production servers at approximately the same time. We did not intentionally perform any action that we know of which would reproduce the behavior.

Additional Information
I have attached a screenshot from Creator Dashboard showing the crash spike. At the affected interval, the dashboard reports:
The dashboard describes Platform crashes as engine-level issues and recommends filing a bug report when a significant spike is observed, so I am reporting this in case Roblox engineers can correlate these crashes with platform/server logs from the affected time period.
Please let me know if there are any additional identifiers, logs, place/version information, or other data that would help investigate these crashes.
