I have a pretty simple question. For when you create fan GFX for Arsenal or Jailbreak, how do you get the map of the game in a model?
So seeing as the maps aren’t open for usage there really are only two ways to do it. You can either rebuild then export the maps which would take a long time. Or get a leaked/stolen version which I would stay far away from. But if you wanted to get permission like some more known GFX artists do they ask permission to use their assets and see if they’ll give it to them. They might have you sign something and your parent/guardian if you’re under 18. But yeah not too many ways to go about doing this.
Edit: It wouldn’t look as good but you could take a picture and then add the characters in using after effects like cropping them in.

You cannot get the model for each games. The only way to get the model is being in contact with the devs.

What I normally do is find an empty server and take a screenshot of the location and then later crop the GUI out. Probably the best method is to ask the game Devs but that seems to do the job for me.
