About Us

Hi there! We are Simplistic Inc. , a small upcoming game development team. We’re looking for developers who are willing to join our team and work with us on our launch for our group.

About The Job

Scripter
If you are applying to be a scripter, you must be able to script guns, tycoons, a save system for tycoons, UI, and more

UI Designer
Must be able to create and import UI, bonus if you can script them as well

We are planning on releasing our first three games shortly after July 4th. All are playable, but need bug fixes

Payment

We are paying 20% of ALL Group revenue to all members of the team, 10% to intern, 10% to go back into the game. % are subject to change.

10% Isn’t much, especially for builders and scripting. I recommend making the percentages higher by taking away roles that are not needed or reducing the amount thats set aside for giveaways. But good luck! :smile:

Edit: Do you have a back-up payment if the game flunks?

10% is too small, a scripter or a builder usually get around 30 - 40%, and where do the remaining 60% go?

I think he means 10% of revenue to each team member, which is quite small, also I think that @TSF_Lacker should clarify that part more.

Oh, I got that part wrong, I though you meant 10% split among the team, apologies!

Why is the intern getting paid as much as the scripter or the builder tho? Since you don’t expect from him as much as the others

Look, every game is a risk if you are one of the developers. The fact that there is no back up pay is true for many of the posts in recruitment using percentages. I have 18 members in the group, of only 5 are staff. If you do not like what we offer, that is okay.

I’m a Ui designer. I’m interested to see what you are looking for. (Do I have to be 13? I’m saving up to use the dev ex later, or is hiring the dev ex?)
