Since Roblox has always had that lego-ish aesthetic

I just remembered that a while ago, I posted a video showing some tilt-shift photography. It’s kinda neat. I might see if I can do more.

It’s pretty short, sadly.
I think I can do quite a bit better now. What do you think?

Tilt-shift photography is when you take pictures, and try to put an effect that makes everything look like miniatures / toys. Did I do it well?

I get the feel of it being mini, but almost too mini, also, not sure if it’s just my eyes, but I see more of a blur, than what feels like a focus lost at things not in the zone of focus, or perhaps it’s poor placement of the focus centre I was noticing?

Basically all I did was put a blur effect on the bottom and top of the screen, sometimes lower or higher.

God that seems like a pain in the ass, kudos to you and your patience.

I agree with Weeve. I feel like the effect is poorly placed in most of them. Most tilt-shift pictures I’ve seen have at least some area they’re trying to give focus to while the video seems to just have it wherever.

Here’s some tilt-shift’s I’ve made for example.

I love the last one. Definitely the best. xD
Here’s me trying to do it with a smooth-terrain showcase I made.

edit : sorry about the quality. D:
I think it still looks really interesting. :stuck_out_tongue:

edit : And yes, I think I could have done better- that was probably like a year and a half ago, though.

You’re supposed to blur far and near objects. The brain decides it’s size based on the area of focused.
