So when the hip height of the skinned mesh is at like 0.1 the animation goes really fast compared to when the hip height is like at 5 (which is when the animation plays normal in the correct speed it was animated in) but I don’t want my character hip height to be at 5 because it will no longer be touching the floor and the character will just be floating in the air. Is there a way to fix this?
You can change the size/position of the HRP (or whatever your primary part is) so that it’s not the size of your entire character model. HipHeight is the distance under the bottom of the HRP, for the character to float on. So you want the bottom of your HRP to be at the level of your character’s hips in your rigging, and it should work much better for you.
