For some reason importing a specifc skinned mesh (made entirely out of a single part), doesn’t add in a ‘RootPart’ for the bones. Instead what it does is that it places the bones directly underneath the MeshPart.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Don’t know if you’re still needing help with this and I could be wrong but from experience I’m pretty sure that’s just what it does when an imported mesh only has one part. I don’t think there’s really a way or reason to change it, so I always just make the one part the root or if you really need to, split it into more parts for a RootPart to be created. Take this with a pinch of salt
Thanks, that seems to be the cause.
