OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS!

This document outlines the new regulation system to take effect in Smile ‘N’ Delight. Effective immediately is the introduction of our strike system. At the end of each rule is the severity level of the violation.

Strikes

Strikes are disciplinary actions that will be categorised into a 3 level system.

  • Lvl. 1 - Verbal/Written warning
    Issued By: HR| Shift Manager+
    – A second violation at Lvl. 1 - Lvl. 2 Strike

  • Lvl. 2 - Suspension/Demotion

          -- **Issued By:** HR| Restaurant Manager+
          -- A second violation at Lvl. 2 = Lvl. 3
    
  • Lvl. 3 - Fired from Smile ‘N’ Delight/Permanently Banned

          -- **Issued By:** SHR| Executives+
    

Any Lvl. 2 strike must be reviewed and approved by at least 2 additional RM+.

Any Lvl. 3 strike must be reviewed by and approved by at least 2 additional BoD+

Note: Immediate action may be taken if necessary however there will still need to be a review & approval process.

When reviewing a case, no member of the review team can directly be affected by the violator in question. This is to avoid having bias opinions and stricter enforcement that may not necessarily be required.


The rules system is divided into 2 categories:
General Rules and Staff Rules

General Rules

These rules must be followed by everyone (staff and customers), and apply to all platforms!

  1. The act of inappropriate behaviour. {Lv. 1}
  2. No inappropriate profile picture and/or status. {Lv. 1}
  3. No advertising. {Lv. 2}
  4. Impersonation of others. {Lv. 2}
  5. The use of inappropriate language. {Lv. 2}
  6. Falsely accusing anyone of these violations. {Lv. 2}
  7. Any excessive background noise, blowing into your mic, screaming. {Lv. 2}
  8. Do not send any unfamiliar links; this is to prevent people from being scammed (keyloggers). {Lv. 2}
  9. Ping Abuse. {Lv. 3}
  10. Trolling will not be tolerated. {Lv. 3}
  11. Revealing personal information about anyone. {Lv. 3}
  12. Harassment, disrespecting or bullying of any kind. {Lv. 3}
  13. No inappropriate references, verbal or through imagery, links, language or acts. {Lv. 3}
Staff Rules

Smile ‘N’ Delight is extremely selective when it comes to hiring individuals to be part of our staff team. If you have been selected then it means you were entrusted to represent Smile ‘N’ Delight to the highest degree. For this reason, you are help to a higher standard when it comes to our rules and regulations.

  1. Only do your own job. - Lv. 1
  2. Ensure accessories do not cover up your uniform. - Lv. 1
  3. Ensure that customers are enjoying their dine and support them by answering any questions they may have. - Lv.1
  4. Do NOT reveal any tabs from your staff job to others or in a posted video. - Lv. 1
  5. Remember to use grammar at all times (this includes capitalisation and punctuation). - Lv. 1
  6. Only go AFK in you’re assigned staff room. - Lv. 1 or Lv. 2
  7. Do not hint at promotions - Lv. 2
  8. Farming Points is prohibited - Lv. 2
  9. Falsely submitting information to EM. - Lv. 2
  10. Making someone feel unwanted in any way. - Lv. 2
  11. All customers and guests should be treated politely. - Lv. 2
  12. Do not trash talk about other groups and/or their employees’ - Lv. 2
  13. You will no longer be allowed to dine in as a customer at Smile ‘N’ Delight’s Bistro without permission from The Board - Lv. 2
  14. Alt accounts are not allowed within Smile ‘N’ Delight’s Staff Team - Lv. 3
  15. Do not allow disagreements to become a heated arguement - Lv. 3
  16. Discriminating other customers and/or guests about speaking other languages. - Lv. 3
Appeals

You may request to appeal a ban from any platform at Smile ‘N’ Delight by contacting a member of our Board.

  • Once an appeal has been opened, a team of 3 members will be assigned to review the appeal and determine if sufficient evidence was provided to overturn or lessen the decision originally handed down.

  • If sufficient evidence is not found and the decision is not overruled, you will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks to apply for a second appeal.

  • Providing false evidence or information in your appeal may result in a stricter penalty being enforced and loss of appeal privileges.

  • Please allow a minimum of 3 days for a team to be assigned and review your case.

  • Teams assigned to your case will be entirely random and consist of members of the EM team.

  • Once a decision has been agreed upon it will be presented to The Board and enforced.

  • If your appeal is successful it does not guarantee that you will be granted your position back. It only means that the action taken may be reversed however you may be required to start from the bottom again.
