Smooth projectiles without network ownership

Hello. Recently I’ve been making a game with lots of projectiles involved.
Normally, I’d set the network ownership of the projectile to the one who fired it, but I realized that won’t work with explosions because it keeps getting positioned wrong.
So is there a way to make bullets smooth without network ownership, or a way to time it so it gives just enough time for the server to catch up on the projectile position before creating the explosion?
