Kitchen Assistant Promotion Guide

Here at Snowcone, we do host training sessions, but we also heavily rely on our point system. From the rank Junior Scooper and onward, you will receive 1 point for every minute spent serving customers in the kitchen. In order to get the Junior Scooper rank, you must attend and pass 1 training session as a Trainee. Hosting times of training sessions are located under the description of the Training Center.

After that, in order to get promoted to Senior Scooper, you must get the corresponding amount of points to your rank on the point guide located below.

Junior Scooper :arrow_right: Seasoned Scooper: 100 points (1h 40m)
Seasoned Scooper :arrow_right: Senior Scooper: 300 points (5h)

You may be wondering, why would I want to achieve the Senior Scooper rank? Well, if you want to become an MR here at Snowcone, you can only apply as the Senior Scooper rank. Any applications that surpass this rule will not be accepted.

The applications for the lowest MR rank (Kitchen Assistant) are open 24/7 and located in the pinned messages of our Communications Server. If you successfully apply and pass the application, you will move onto the trial portion of the rank.

For a more in depth explanation on the Kitchen Assistant process, we recommend you read through the Kitchen Assistant Guide.

LR Expectations

Serving
As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will have the responsibility of serving customers at the parlor. At the parlor, you would go into the kitchen and wait until a customer approaches you. Once they approach you, you will begin by welcoming them.

This is an example of a good greeting, but you can enhance yours however you’d like!

Greetings, welcome to Snowcone! My username is semovra, how can I help you? The menu is located above me.

Once they ask for their desired item, you can go retrieve it for them! The recipe guide is also located on this Handbook if you get stuck on a recipe. After you’ve made their order, you can say goodbye and move onto the next customer!

Trolling
Trollers are customers who do not follow the proper way of ordering and don’t order at all. Some instances of trolling could be spamming, not ordering properly, or ordering something that’s not on the menu repeatedly.

The way you deal with trollers is by giving them 1 warning after you’ve asked them to stop multiple times.

A warning format could look something like this.

Warning | [Reason]

If they continue after you’ve given them a warning, you must call an MR+ immediately. You can do this by either asking for MRs on the group wall, or by pinging one on the Communications Server. Remember to tell them what server you’re in if there are multiple.

Exploitation
As an Ice Cream Scooper, if you witness an exploiter in the server you must act immediately. Exploiters are customers who use blacklisted commands in order to cause disruption at the parlor. Some examples could be a customer flying, standing in the kitchen, etc. Remember that only MR+ is given commands.

In order to take care of the exploiter, you must screenshot proof if possible. Make sure to also remember their username, because we can still get them banned from the server even if they leave. Once you’ve gotten proof, contact an HR+ either through the group wall or Communications Server. Remember that exploiters should NOT be given any warnings.

Grammar
As an LR, it is vital for you to have grammar at the parlor. But, this rule only applies to when you are inside the kitchen. For example, if we were playing minigames outside the parlor you would not need to have grammar. Proper grammar should look like good punctuation, full sentences, and a general understanding of your text.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading the Snowcone Public Handbook, if you still have any questions feel free to message any member of the staff team.
