So, i've tried the roblox "ads"

Hey, everyone! :waving_hand:

These are my stats after advertisement:

Well, i tried the roblox ads for my game: [RNG 🎲] Flinging Tower - Roblox, and i can’t understand, are these stats are good? I spent allover 10 ad credits, so it shouldn’t be that good i guess :/. Overall, I’ve got +2k Visits, +39 rbx, +24 members in my group.

If it’s bad, why? Is my game still not ready for this, or there is nothing, that make people stay in the game?

If it’s good, should i make more ads for game so it might (i hope) blow up?

All feedbacks or suggestions are welcomed! :heart_exclamation:

I saw people spending same amount of credits, and they got much better stats than me. Don’t know what i’m doing wrong :(.

So you spent 10 ad credits and gained 6k visits from that campaign? I would generally consider that a great outcome for that budget. How do the stats look like?

Hey! :waving_hand:

They are all set to zero now because the ads ended a week ago. But at that moment, I had such stats: Day 1 retention: 12:5%, Average Playtime: 6-7 mins, Day 7 retention: 0% ;(, Average revenue: 39R$ that’s all i think. Is it good for this amount of credits?

I’ve got 2k from the ad, i had 4k before it all started btw

One thing I would recommend is if you want to include that you updated the game in the title, to put it after the actual name of the game.

Second, and I’ve learned this from each time I’ve run advertisements in the last year and a half with the new system: only advertise on one occasion upon releasing your game, which it seems like you have done here. Your game metrics will always be lower if your main source of plays are from new users that have no targeting. If you advertise after your game gets onto the algorithm, you will lower those statistics and actually hurt your game.

Taking what I said above into account, usually around 1-2 weeks after your initial advertisement ends is when you will begin to see a growing base of players join your game without ads. This is because the game will have gotten into the algorithm and is now being seen on home page recommendations and potentially search results.

So with all of this, I would just be patient, keep monitoring your game statistics and seeing how they perform compared to the benchmarks, and look for feedback from players.

bump, need more thoughts about stats

Thank you for the tip

It’s been like 2 weeks (or even more) since the final ad ended up and i still can’t see the real progress in the game. The current stats are HORRIBLE, like 8 new players in a day and 6 min avg playtime, that’s awful.

Maybe i should wait for a month, so the algorithm will finally do its work i hope.
